We take a look at the live to tape workflow to save time.

 

Specifically we look at using hardware for:

  1. High Pass Filter
  2. Compression
  3. Enhancer
  4. Noise gate/exapnder

In this episode I am using an MXL 990 microphone, Presonus TubePre Mic Preamp, Behringer Autocom 1400 Voice Processor and the Presonis Inspire I394 audio interface to do voice processing on the fly.

After listening to the results, there was too much bass/low frequency energy and I had to do the high pass filter in software too.
